Guided by Noongar knowledge.

Oral McGuire, Noongar Whadjuk Elder, has offered DuraTerra his support, advice and guidance on incorporating First Nations principles into our approach. He has also offered his land and knowledge in support of a large trial process on native grasses, shrubs, trees and soil, incorporating native biologicals.

This guidance shapes how DuraTerra thinks about native landscape recovery — as work done in partnership with the knowledge already held by Traditional Owners, not a technology applied to Country from the outside.

Native Trial Program

Planning is underway for a large-scale trial across native grasses, shrubs, trees and soil, incorporating native biologicals alongside DuraTerra's technology — grounded in Noongar knowledge of Country.

Our Approach

Working with Country, not on it.

Mine-affected land, degraded native soils and Country under environmental pressure call for restoration approaches shaped with the people who hold knowledge of, and responsibility for, that land. DuraTerra brings the granule technology as one tool within a partnership — where priorities, timelines and outcomes are set in agreement with Traditional Owners and community organisations.

Supporting Country-led agricultural enterprises with soil biology technology, applied on terms set by the communities running them.

Native Soils & Landscape Recovery

Working toward a large-scale trial of native grasses, shrubs, trees and soil incorporating native biologicals, guided by Noongar knowledge of Country.

Mine Site Rehabilitation

Supporting the re-establishment of biological soil function on rehabilitated mine-affected land, in projects shaped with Traditional Owners and land councils.
